Yes?
Go look up online aftermarket parts and accesories or even resto parts for generation one camaros. You can quickly find out what panels are interchangable. I believe the site is http://www.yearone.com
Back-in-the-day, I had a '67 Cam.
It was custom ordered, about half way thru the year;
the body was '67, but the interior was '68.
I loved that car!!!!!
Thanks, your question reminded me of some very good times.
Hello and Happy Holidays,
Although we deal primarily with numbers matching cars, the
panels should work. The panel covering my vary a bit. Please feel free to visit our site YesterYearMotorCars.com or post questions and pics on Yahoo group Yesteryearmotorcars.

I am 90% sure the actual door panel should fit. Problems would arise in the inner door panel/trim and possible door handle alignments like you mentioned, but if both doors have 69 inner panels as well, there should be no problems then. As long as they work, seal, and look good. Take your time and do your research though. Try asking a body panel shop if they have one of each or if you could go measure one.
